Thanks Pak. This is a great idea and these are great pictures. Where do they come from? This would be a wonderful concept to develop in the concepting phase. At this phase, it'll be great if you could tell us where are these specific examples so that they can inspire us. Looking forward to seeing your idea evolving. Please keep sharing! al
I travel a lot, and last semester I went to Boston to visit my friends. After a week, I enjoyed all the campuses very much. In Boston University, I loved their open kitchen Cafeteria with great quality foods, reasonable price and comfortable dinning area. Then I visited Harvard University and Tufts University. They also have great cafeterias with different variety types of food and nice dining halls with windows to let more sunlight in. I hope that both Poly and NYU will change their cafeteria and their dining hall, and make them similar to those of Boston, Tufts, and Harvard.
thanks Pak for sharing your observations. From these different examples and the images you posted, it seems that what matters is: 1. open space, with light and comfortable dining area 2. good quality food and with a lot of variety 3. reasonable price
at what time do they open and at what time to they close? I heard some students saying that it was hard to stay late because after the caferia closes, they are nearly no options around campus.

Great idea Pak, why don't you tell us about your favorite place to hang out? For example, where would do you like to do your assignments?
